Single decal Luftwaffe M-40 helmet with full basket chickenwire. This helmet has "been there" and talks to you. Liner is well worn, and one finger is broken from liner, but piece still attached to tightening cord.
Owners name written with pencil on liner, which is about a size 56. Shell marked nkp64. Inside bowl is heavily rusted, and outside paint is about 50% with areas without paint having dark surface rust. Decal has about 20% remaining. Liner appears original to helmet with locking washers tight on split rivits. Chinstrap marked with Rb numbers. An honest combat helmet.
